Directions
Reaching the festival is easy from most anywhere in the southeast. Interstate 10 and Interstate 75 are both near and the park can be reached from I-10 Exit 283 or I-75 Exit 451.
Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park is located between Jacksonville, Florida & Tallahassee, Florida about 30 minutes south of the Georgia State line. The park is about 45 minutes north of Gainesville.
From points north and south, take I-75 to Florida exit 451. Go south on US Hwy 129 for about 4 miles and the park is on your right.
From the east or west, take I-10 to Live Oak Exit 283. Take US Hwy 129 North about 4.5 miles and the park is on your left
Camping
Enjoy the complete festival experience by camping along the historic Suwannee River for the weekend. The park has plenty of sites available with complete facilities for both RV’s and tent campers.
Primitive Camping:
Primitive camping is first come, first serve. The full festival and Sat/Sun festival ticket price includes park access, parking & primitive camping fees. There are primitive camping areas in different parts of the park. Check out the primitive area that is out behind the horse camping - the park calls it the "80 acres" - it's a little farther out, but has wonderful wooded camping galore. In addition you have primitive camping all over the park, including the Pine Field, the Bird Sanctuary, Rees Lake and the Farm Field (the drum camp is located here so if you want quiet - this is not the place to be). Quiet camping is available upon request when you check in at the front gate. Remember that arrivals for the festival prior to Thursday, require additional camping fees to the park.
Electric/Water Site Upgrades:
Please note that the park assigns specific sites when you reserve your space. Please call early if you have a special site you want to upgrade to, or if you want to camp in upgraded sites beside or near other people. Primitive camping is included with your full festival ticket. If you would like a site with electric, water, and/or sewer, you should purchase an upgrade by visiting www.musicliveshere.com or calling the park at 386-364-1683.

Rees Lake Camping:
Many of our festival folks camp around or near Rees Lake, where both Slopryland and the Bill Monroe Shrine is located. At the inception of our festivals, a large percentage of our festival goers only wanted primitive camping, so the park accommodated our request to keep the Rees Lake Area available for primitive camping by leaving these electric sites turned off. During the last few years, there has been more demand for water and electric camping sites and requests for electricity by festival goers camping in the lake area. This led the park to make these water and electric sites available for reserved upgrade the same as other upgraded sites in the park.
Click below to link to the park's campground map. All numbered spots on the map are water and electric. The "80 Acres" is located past horse camping and barn noted on the map. The map doesn't show it, but there are now roads to that camping area. But if you want an upgraded water and electric spot reserved in advance and held just for you, including the Rees Lake spots, then call the park and reserve one of the upgraded sites in the park. About The Park
Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park lies on 580 beautifully-wooded acres down along the banks of Old Florida’s Suwannee River. Along with the camping, there are nearly 12 miles of trails suitable for hiking, biking, horseback riding and nature exploring. Bring along a fishing pole and wet a line from the dock on Rees Lake. Canoe and bike rentals are available at the on-site canoe outpost. Or take a dip in the nearby Suwannee Springs.

Other Festival Information
SEATING
Festival-style seating will be in effect; first come, first served. Please bring lawn chairs and blankets. The amphitheater seating area must be cleared at the end of each day. No chairs can be left overnight. For the convenience of all, we request that all unoccupied chairs may be used during daylight hours until the owner returns. Amphitheater seating area will open to place your chairs at 9am Friday, Saturday and Sunday. No coolers, glass, alcoholic beverages, food or drink (other than water) may be brought into the festival area. Please be prepared for security search of all bags and packs. If you have special food needs, please go by the Festival Office to get a Food Pass.
Dog Policy: No Dogs Allowed
The central issue is simply one of safety — for the dogs and for the people.
No dogs are allowed either in the campground or the festival areas. The only exceptions are for verifiable handicap-access canines or park residents.
SMOKING
A non-smoking area has been designated in the amphitheater floor area between the sound board and the stage. Also, the Music Hall and designated areas at the Meadow, Porch and Old Florida Stages are non-smoking. You may smoke in the elevated area of the amphitheater. No matter where you smoke while in the festival or the campground, please place your butts in an appropriate trash receptacle! Thanks for your cooperation.
Drum Camp
Drum camp, hosted by our Paralounge volunteers, is an area complete with a drum circle ready for a bon fire. Please set up your camp in that area if you want to drum at your campsite, or go there when you're ready to jam! No drumming will be allowed in other areas of the campground.
Vending
Arrangements for vending must be made in advance of the festival. No unauthorized vending allowed in the festival area or the campground. Offenders will be escorted from the park with NO REFUNDS! Click here for vending information.
